This is a quick and easy recipe if you only have a few minutes or if you find you have more guests than you thought! As long as you have the livers, you will almost definitely have the other ingredients to hand too.
Ingredients -
2 chicken livers
6 fingers hot toast, buttered
3 rashers streaky bacon
Cayenne pepper
Paprika
Black pepper
Preparation:
Wash and dry the livers. Cut into 3. De-rind the bacon and cut each rasher in half. Wrap each piece of liver in bacon and grill or fry for 2 or 3 minutes. Place one roll on each finger of toast. Sprinkle with black pepper, paprika and cayenne. Serve hot.
